Okay folks - the race is on!
We had a great start to the race; conditions are hot and dry but look to cool off significantly once the sun goes down!
We had at least 25 riders sign up "day-of" so the conditions helped bring out the riders.
We hope to be uploading photos soon so stay tuned!!!

Hey folks,
New development! Conte's bicyce shop has given us a Cannondale Cross Frame to raffle off!! This raffle will start a trail fund for the camp and will help keep the trail properly maintained for the future!
You down for winning a cross frame? Bring a few extra bucks and help us raise funds for the trail!!!
PS. I don't have the specifics on the frame, but come check it out at registration!

Hey Folks,
Last night we adjusted the race rules to the following:
The race will be a “true 18 hours” race. The race will begin at 4pm and the race will end promptly at 10am.
The most laps completed before 10am will win each category!!! All laps will be completed at 10am!
This effort is to get everyone to the breakfast/awards ceremony and on the road. We have some people traveling quite some distance and they need to get on the road promptly after the race!
I think this will add a real challenge to the riders left on the course after 9am Sunday morning.. Oh, how sweet is this!

Pre-RIdes and Course Trail Work This Weekend

We'll be meeting this Saturday at the Cub Scout side of the camp to start the day by getting the course ready for the race. Meet at 9:00 a.m. if you are avaliable for trail work then the riding will start in the afternoon, no latter than 4:00 and will ride till 9:00 p.m.
I've heard from a number of racers so I'm pretty sure its going to be a busy day - hope to see you out there!
